Review: NIKE WOMEN’S PRO COOL CAPRIS

This review will cover one of my top go-to gym pants: Nike Pro Cool Capris. Below I touch on the look, feel/fitting, performance, and cost, so you can determine if these capris are a good fit for you.

Look

I love the simple, clean look of these capris, and the mesh panels on the calves, for added breathability.

Nike Pro Cool Capris come in many vibrant colors and prints. The colors shown in this review are ‘White/Wolf Grey‘ and ‘Game Royal/Black.’

Feel

The fabric is Nike’s very own Dri-FIT®, which is 80% Polyester and 20% Spandex. If you’re familiar with Nike’s Dri-FIT® material, then you know that this material absorbs moisture/sweat, while still remaining feeling light and dry.

Due to the material, in certain lighting, these capris can become somewhat see-through — especially a lighter color such as the ‘White/Wolf Grey.’

Sizing/Fitting

For reference: I am 5’4” and wear a size 2 in jeans. The capris shown here are size small.

If you’ve read my other reviews (Gymshark, Celestial Bodiez), you know my preferred fitting for gym legwear is to be tight(ish), while not being over compressive, and to be honest, I do find the material of these capris to be slightly tighter than I would prefer — but that is a minor critique, and may even be just a personal experience.

As for the waistband, it’s thick and snug — no need to worry about your waistband loosening up over time, or having to constantly adjust them after a set — they move and stay with you.

Perform

So how do Nike Pro Cool Capris perform in the gym? Light, dry, and free.

These leggings are designed for training, and therefore can handle whatever workout you throw at them in the gym.

Pricing

You can find Nike Pro Cool Capris ranging from $30-50 — depending on the seller (i.e. Nike, Amazon, Dick’s Sporting Goods, etc.).

In my opinion and experience, these capris are definitely worth it; so much so, that I recently bought a second pair of them in white (shown).

All in all, I give these leggings a 9/10.
