A simple, sweet, and sustainableĀ salad!
Ingredients:
- chicken
- shrimp
- your choice of lettuce, spinach, or broccoli slaw
- strawberries
- onions
- garlic
- olive oil
- feta cheese
- walnuts (optional)
- your choice of dressing (a balsamic vinaigrette complementsĀ well)
Cut strawberries.
Cook chicken with desired seasoning(s).
Mince onions and garlic and throw into a hot pan with a dash of olive oil. Allow to simmer for a few minutes. Toss in defrosted shrimp; and continue cooking until done.
Pour your choice of lettuce/spinach (I used broccoli slaw) into a large bowl. Top with cooked chicken and shrimp, strawberries, chopped walnuts, feta cheese, and 1-2 tablespoon(s) of dressing.
Mix together and ENJOY!
