Gym Jamz

Let’s be real, music can sometimes make or break a workout. Ever forget your headphones? It’s the worst!

Another thing that sucks is when you listen to songs that use to get you pumped, and they no longer have that same hype feel to them that they once had. Have no fear fitfam, below are some suggestions for music in the gym to get you goin’!

Spotify

Check out these playlists on Spotify:

  • Power Workout, by Spotify (hype rap)
  • 24 Trap Workout Songs, by Bodybuilding.com (trap gets me the most pumped in the gym, however I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, or should I say pre 😉 )
  • Your Workout Remix | Pop Hits, by Spotify
  • House Workout, by Spotify (another trappy playlist)

Fitbeatz

Fitbeatz uploads new mixes every Friday, so you have a variety to choose from. They currently have 80+ mixes (that are about a hour long) to choose from. Pick one and you’re ready to go!

DJ Private Ryan

DJ Private Ryan also does hour long mixes of popular songs, but they’re from a variety of music genres. He is from Trinidad and Tobago, so he puts his own Caribbean spin on things. It’s good stuff!

What kind of music do you like to listen to when you work out?

  1. I like the HIIT-Hop playlist on Spotify, but most of my workout music comes from Spotify’s individual playlist that other people make. Just hit the search bar and you have endless workout playlists for every genre imaginable. Good stuff!
