Protein Flapjacks

This simple pancake recipe is a more macro-friendly alternative; perfect to start your day or fuel you up for your afternoon workout.

You’ll need:

  • Kodiak Power Cakes: Protein Packed Flapjack & Waffle Mix (available at Target, Fresh Market)
  • Low Cal, Sugar Free Syrup
  • Strawberries
  • I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter! Spray (optional)

 

Warm pan on medium-high.

For three 4″ pancakes, measure 1/2 cup, or 53g of dry mix (I prefer to weigh as it is more accurate). Add about 1/2 cup of water and whisk.

Using a 1/4 cup, pour batter onto pan, flipping when filled with tiny bubbles, and finish cooking on other side.

Spray I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter! and top with sliced strawberries. Measure and pour 1 serving of syrup.

Grab your coffee and ENJOY!
