Review: CELESTIAL BODIEZ LOW RISE LEGGINGS

Below is my honest review of how Celestial Bodiez Low Rise Leggings look, feel, perform, and cost, along with some pros and cons, so you can feel more assured about your decision to purchase.

Look

Celestial Bodiez’s signature ‘bootyscrunch’ leggings aim to create the illusion of a smaller waist by accentuating curves; resulting in leggings that are flattering to us ladies’ figures — which I agree, they do!

I chose the color ‘Watermelon,’ as I liked the bold, pretty color.

Feel

The materials used in these leggings is 90% Supplex and 10% Lycra Blend; which feels light, carefree, stretchy, and sufficiently durable (I prefer this material over Gymshark’s DRY Sculpture Leggings). I’ve had mine for over a year and have yet to experience any issues with seams wearing out.

Sizing/Fitting

For reference: in jeans I wear a size 2. The leggings shown here are size small.

My preferred fitting for leggings is for them to be tight(ish), while not being over compressive.

The Low Rise Leggings fit well — as stated and shown above, they compliment the legs and bum.

The waistband on these do become a bit loose overtime –- I sometimes find myself pulling/adjusting them after a set at the gym, so that is somewhat of a slight annoyance, but not a huge deal.

As for the leg length — there is plenty. So if you’re not a lil shorty like me (5’4”), you will have more than enough leg room!

Performance

So how do Celestial Bodiez’s Low Rise Leggings perform at the gym? Pretty good! They move freely about, and don’t compress your legs or bum — but don’t just take my word for it, check out the video below!

Pricing

Celestial Bodiez’s Low Rise Leggings run in at about $70 (not including shipping).

So are they worth it? In my opinion, yes and no. While the shape/design of these leggings is unique and flattering, I still feel that $70 for these leggings is a lot — but that is my personal opinion.

Overall, I give these leggings an 8/10.

What’s your favorite leggings?

  1. I think it’s fair to say, one can definitely tell the difference between a good pair and a bad. On the same note, I find it difficult to believe that, at $70, there’s a lot of profit grabbing going on there.

    1. I feel ya girl. The main reason I got them is because I asked for them as a Christmas gift last year lol.

But hey, ask Matthew to get them for you as a birthday, anniversary, or “just because” present, lol — I’m sure he wouldn’t mind. 😜

  2. I love my celestial bodies I have the navy heather ones and they are made out of a completely different material than those ones. They are more soft. I have both and I like the heather material best. You should try!
