If lifting is your lifestyle, chances are, you have received this question quite frequently.
People ask what your hobbies are and you respond with lifting; or if they know you well, they may flat out say, “I don’t know how you do it. Don’t you get tired of going to the gym everyday?“
Well, no. To be honest, it’s the highlight of my day. Granted, there are days where I’m not in the mood at all- I just want to go home and take a nap; but for the most part, I look forward to it.
Lifting is extremely rewarding- both mentally and physically. When you set short and long term goals, and achieve them, it’s one of the best feelings!
In the beginning of my fitness journey, when my body first started to change, I remember looking into the mirror and thinking excitedly to myself, “Oh that’s new!”
Once you see your body changing from the hard work you put into the gym, it becomes absolutely addicting. It encourages you to keep going- to keep challenging yourself.
So, what motivates you?

Great article. What happened to the Butt Implant article btw? I went to comment on it and it seems to be gone?

I had second thoughts on posting it because I did not want to be perceived as defaming some of those women.
